DONATIONS
WCHS is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit and
takes monentary and also donations of items. We don't do appriasals of items.
We are located on 323 E. Central Avenue which is downtown West Carrollton. Parking is behind the house and along the street.
Central Avenue is famous for the amount of paper mill houses that surround the street with many of the workers owning the houses. Our particular house was built by Robert W. Burns in 1897 and he bought the land for under $500.
The first family to move into the house was the Rhuben Miller family and remained there for over a decade and then the Roebuck family took up residence. WCHS is the 4th owner of the house and in 1985 the city of West Carrollton purchased the house for the Historical Society.
